Holistic Financial Planning Workshop Feb. 15-17

PULLMAN, Wash. -- A Holistic Financial Planning Workshop for agricultural producers is scheduled Feb.15-17 at the Ellensburg Inn at Ellensburg.

Participants will learn how to take control of their finances and plan for profit; why it is necessary to focus on profit, not production; creative ways to cut expenses and prioritize spending; how to monitor expenses to ensure profit and how to erase debt within a short period of time.

"This workshop will help managers ensure that their expenditures are moving them toward the future they desire," said Doug Warnock, one of the workshop educators.

Cost is $270 per person or $490 for two or more members of the same family or business. The fee includes lunches, refreshments and materials. The workshop is being cosponsored by Solar $, a non-profit corporation, and Washington State University's Center for Sustaining Agriculture and Natural Resources.

The center is offering a limited number of scholarships. For more information and registration materials, call Solar $ at (509) 925-1070 in Ellensburg or contact Doug Warnock at warnockd@televar.com.
