2002 Direct Seed Conference Proceedings On Sale
PULLMAN, Wash. -- Copies of the proceedings of the 2002 Northwest Direct Seed Cropping Systems Conference in Spokane, Jan. 16-18, are available for $8.
The 177-page publication provides detailed summaries of speakers' presentations. "The proceedings provide an excellent reference on new technologies for direct seed cropping systems," said Roger Veseth, Washington State University and University of Idaho extension conservation tillage specialist.
Some 900 people attended the conference, which featured 24 speakers, including 10 Northwest and Canadian growers. Only about 100 copies of the proceedings are available for sale. Within a few weeks, the proceedings also be added to the conference Web site at http://pnwsteep.wsu.edu/directseed. "When posted, anyone with access to the World Wide Web will be able to print pages, or the entire report if they wish," Veseth said.
To order proceedings, write a check for $8, which includes handling and shipping. Make it payable to Northwest Direct Seed Conference and mail it to: Northwest Direct Seed Conference, P.O. BOX 2002, Pasco, WA 99302.
