Stormwater Management Satellite Conference, Oct. 17
PULLMAN, Wash. -- Washington State University will host a national satellite video conference from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 17 featuring a discussion on best practices to manage storm water resulting from flash floods or rapid snowmelt.
The broadcast "Stormwater Management from a Watershed Perspective: Extreme Western Climates" will feature case studies shot on location in Arizona and Alaska by a video team from the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences and a live panel discussion featuring guests from Alaska, Arizona and the Environmental Protection Agency's Region 10 office in Seattle.
The broadcast will originate in room T-101 of the Food Science and Human Nutrition Building. It is free and open to the public. If you would like to be a part of the studio audience, please plan to be in your seat by 8:50 a.m.
